Event Details

Qigong, a wellness practice for cultivation of vitality, is a holistic, practical and non-dogmatic approach based on natural, restorative, intention-based movement patterns that
are combined with imagery, sensitivity, relaxation, and breathing.
Because anyone can do it (regardless of age or physical condition) and because it reduces dependency on external help, it is a genuine self-empowering practice by which we become the
principal source of self-care, contributing to the productivity of organizations, and prosperity of communities.

The Eight Brocades Qigong, arguably the most popular Qigong in the world, is an
ancient practice with modern application embraced by millions of people worldwide.
The eight easy exercises require only 10-15 min a day to improve your wellbeing.

30 MARCH, 10-11:30 AM: INTRODUCTION & FIRST PART OF THE EIGHT BROCADES QIGONG
6 APRIL, 10-11:30 AM: SECOND PART OF THE EIGHT BROCADES QIGONG
20 APRIL, 10-11:30 AM: PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER & BONUS PRACTICE (EXPRESS QIGONG)

This Qigong is not taught for medical purposes. However, there is evidence even from the Western
science that it contributes to, amongst others, the following wellness benefits: Improved cardiovascular
function and regulation of blood pressure; Reduced inflammation; Increased immunity, bone density, and quality of blood; Reduced anxiety, depression, and addictions; Pain relief; Improved coordination and stronger muscles; Improved cognitive performance; and Increased efficiency of cell metabolism and tissue regeneration. It helps with chronic stress, nourishes the whole organism, and tonifies the mind- body – all to provide more energy for a quality lifestyle.
